Overview
If the system has https access, dbcollect can update itself:
# Update dbcollect:
dbcollect --update
# Without root access, the new version will be saved as /tmp/dbcollect.
# Move it manually to the required location.
Manual update
Without internet access, updating is as easy as downloading the latest version and replace the old one. Make sure it is in the correct location (/usr/local/bin) and executable.
